Enhancement: Adaptive Limit Increased

Previously, for recurring offers that are processed via PayPal ADAPTIVE, the maximum time span is 4 years OR maximum total amount of all payments is USD 8,000 (or its equivalent in other currencies) — whichever comes earlier.

This limit is imposed by PayPal, which we have no control of. However, because we’ve been processing huge volume of transactions through them and because of our good track record — they’ve increased our limit to 10 years OR USD 20,000 (or its equivalent in other currencies).

This ONLY applies to RECURRING payments processed via PayPal ADAPTIVE. If you’re using PayPal Standard, Authorize.net, Stripe, 2checkout, or any other payment processor, there are no limits.

What this mean? Well, it means there are more money to be made by you when you choose PayPal ADAPTIVE as the payment processor for your offer.

Now go make more sales!

Nice, this is good news .. but what happens to existing payments?

I am sure that the subscriptions we had initially set up by our clients were for 2 years.. will these get automatically extended?

      Hi Mark
Previous payments that happened before the limit increase would follow the previous limit. Only new payments will enjoy this new limit.
